Parts and labour on one quote
Photos of the bathroom or the airing cupboard plus a few words, typed or by voice. JobGuard splits the job into lines, suggests a range for each one and adds your own markup on materials. You pick every figure.
What you find when the floor comes up
Corroded fittings, a pipe run that is not where it should be, a valve that will not shut off. Price it as extra work on the spot and the client signs on their phone before you carry on, not when the invoice lands.
Every merchant receipt on the job
Snap the receipt at the counter. It is saved on the job with its date, and adds to the invoice with one tap, so no fitting bought for the job goes uncharged.
Working for a main contractor
Invoices can take CIS off the labour and use VAT reverse charge when the job needs it, alongside the normal invoices for homeowners.
When you have a crew
On the Team plan, up to 5 workers send photos, notes, hours and receipts from site. You approve every report before it reaches the client, and crew hours and pay are worked out per person.
Easy to miss on a plumbing quote
- Draining down and refilling the system
- Isolation valves, fittings and pipe clips
- Taking out and disposing of the old suite or cylinder
- Boxing in and making good after the pipework
- Inhibitor and flushing on heating jobs
- The second trip when a part is not in stock
JobGuard lists items like these under Easy to miss before you send the quote.

Questions
Can I charge for parts I buy on the day?
Yes. Add the receipt to the job and put it on the invoice with your markup, or price it as extra work for the client to approve first.
What if I find more work once I open up?
Add it as extra work with a photo and a price. The client gets a link and a PIN and signs on their phone, so it is agreed before you do it.
Does it work for small call-outs?
Yes. A job can be one line and one invoice. The Free plan covers up to 2 jobs a month, with no card needed.
