Labour and timber on one quote
Photos and a description, typed or by voice. JobGuard splits the job into lines - fixing, materials, ironmongery, finishing - with a suggested range for each. You pick the figures.
Changes before you cut
Another door, a different handle, a wardrobe that now needs a drawer unit. Each change goes to the client as extra work with a price, and they sign on their phone before you order or cut.
Day work for first and second fix
Log days for you and your crew on the job. They add up for the invoice, with CIS and reverse charge when you are working for a builder.
Signed, dated, kept
The signed quote, the approved changes and your photos stay on the job with their dates, if anyone asks later.
Easy to miss on a joinery quote
- Ironmongery: hinges, handles, locks and closers
- Planing and fitting doors to old, out-of-square frames
- Scribing to uneven walls and floors
- Filling, sanding and getting it ready for the decorator
- Collecting timber and the offcuts that go in the skip
- Removing and disposing of the old doors or units
JobGuard lists items like these under Easy to miss before you send the quote.

Questions
Can I price per door or per day?
Both. Each line has its own quantity - doors, days or metres - and a price.
Can my crew log their own days?
On the Team plan, workers log hours, photos and receipts from site. You approve them first.
Does the client need to install anything?
No. They get a link and a PIN and sign on their phone.
