Priced from the room, not a guess
Photos of each room and a few words about the finish. JobGuard turns it into lines - prep, ceilings, walls, woodwork - with a suggested range for each. You pick the figures.
When the walls are worse than they looked
Blown plaster under the paper, stains that need a stain block, an extra coat on a dark colour. Send it as extra work with a photo and a price; the client signs on their phone first.
Day work for the crew
Log days or hours for you and your team on the job. The weekly update adds them up with the week’s photos, so the client sees the progress.
A quote that looks like a bigger firm
Your logo and terms on a proper PDF. The client reads it on their phone and accepts with a signature.
Easy to miss on a decorating quote
- Filling, sanding and caulking before any paint goes on
- Stripping old paper and sizing the walls
- Stain block and mist coat on new plaster
- Moving and covering furniture, masking and dust sheets
- An extra coat for strong colour changes
- Access equipment for stairwells and exteriors
JobGuard lists items like these under Easy to miss before you send the quote.

Questions
Can I quote a day rate instead of a price per room?
Yes. Each line has its own quantity - days, rooms or square metres - and a price, and you can log the days worked on the job.
Can the client choose colours on the quote?
Write the colours and finishes into the quote lines. Anything that changes later goes as extra work for them to approve.
Is there a free plan?
Yes - up to 2 jobs a month, no card needed.
