Delete your JobGuard account

In the app

1. Log in to JobGuard (the app or www.jobguard.uk).
2. Open the menu (☰) → Profile → Your data and account.
3. Optional: tap "Download my data" first to keep your invoices and records.
4. Tap "Delete my account", type DELETE and confirm.

Without the app

Email support@jobguard.uk from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We do it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Straight away: your account, jobs, quotes, photos, notes, extra work, receipts, invoices, clients, team and settings. Any subscription is cancelled. Your clients can no longer open your links.

What stays: what you added to someone else's job as a worker (kept with that job, without your name), records of your payments to JobGuard (kept 6 years, as UK tax law requires), copies in our providers' backups (up to 30 days), records Stripe, Resend, Twilio and Google keep under their own rules, and files still waiting to be cleaned up (up to 30 days). App usage and technical records are deleted within 60 days.

Deleting only some data

You don't have to delete the whole account: you can delete a single project (with its photos, receipts and records) or a client from inside the app.
